How ProTrade Journal works

ProTrade Journal helps traders safely rehearse ideas: replay market history, mark levels, and record mock trades.

Pick a symbol, start date, and timeframes to prepare the chart for replay testing.
Do a pre-trade routine: mark horizontal / trend levels and relevant context.
Hit Play to start interactive playback of historical price action.
When all entry rules align, tap Play again to freeze the chart right at the setup.
Press Buy / Sell to open a mock position; SL/TP are filled from your settings.
Describe the trade, pick the strategy, and note which checklist rules were satisfied.
Resume playback to watch how the trade resolves and manage it if needed.
Review results under the charts or in the journal to keep detailed records.
Analyze your stats over time to spot strengths and weaknesses in the system.

Chart tools & scaling

Delete / Backspace	Delete selected drawing (trend/horizontal/Fibonacci) or auto-level
Ctrl / Cmd + Z	Undo last drawing add/move/delete (Ctrl/Cmd+Z)
M	Switch to Move cursor (disable drawing tools)
T	Draw a trendline. Quick access: hold Shift while dragging the mouse.
H	Draw a horizontal level. Quick access: hold ⌘ (or Meta) while dragging the mouse.
Z	Draw a zone between two horizontal levels (supply/demand band). Quick access: hold Option/Alt while dragging.
F	Draw Fibonacci retracement.
I	Place an icon marker.
Cmd + ↑ / ↓ / ← / →	Place the matching arrow icon at the cursor on the chart.
Cmd + , / .	Place a thumbs up or thumbs down icon at the cursor on the chart.
A	Add a text note.
L	Lock or unlock drawings
V	Show or hide drawings
U	Toggle the range ruler (U) to measure price spans.
O	Show or hide volume histogram
R	Show or hide RSI indicator
G	Show or hide Fractals indicator
S	Show or hide Moving Average (MA) indicator
1	Trigger scale preset 1 (duration depends on timeframe)
2	Trigger scale preset 2 (duration depends on timeframe)
3	Trigger scale preset 3 (duration depends on timeframe)
